12 Teams Earn Tournament Success

The September 24-25 weekend was a busy one for tournaments in the Bay Area.  Teams from San Ramon FC represented our club in over a ½ dozen different tournaments, from Palo Alto to Davis.

Playing in the heat against good competition, our teams continue to develop their skills and teamwork. 12 SRFC teams earned either a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place result in tournament play last weekend.

Congratulations to the players and their coaches for competing well and earning a good result!


The 01G NPL team won the U16G bracket of the San Ramon FC Fall Shootout. The team went undefeated in the tournament, scoring 11 goals and giving up only 2.  This is the team's second straight tournament championship following its win at Soccer by the Bay in August.  Congratulation to the 01G NPL team and Coach Andy Mittler!

The 00G White team earned a 2nd place result at the Santa Cruz Classic! They had a great weekend playing through some tough competition and the heat. The 00G White team went undefeated to get to the final game. They have worked hard during the summer and their improvement is evident in the result. Congratulations to Coach Luis Chavez and the team!

The 06 06G Navy team finished their tournament on a winning note, securing a 3rd place finish at the Union City Soccer Palooza.  Congratulations to the players and Coach Matheus Menezes!
